Unlike a home sealant, our product is a professional, acrylic-based sealant that not only provides water resistance, but extensive UV resistance that other sealant applications simply cannot replicate.

Timber—like steel and concrete—suffers from the effects of the sun’s UV rays, which take the moisture from the timber causing it to dry, crack, discolor and warp. In addition, moisture from humid climates or constant wetting encourages mildew growth, waging a war on the wood’s appearance and structural integrity. On a pedestrian bridge the sealant should be applied to the deck, handrails, curbing and all outer areas of bridge. On a vehicular bridge, sealant should be applied to curb, pedestrian sections and handrails.
