The ideal span for your development will cross bodies of water such as small streams, creeks and rivers, wetlands, steep ravines and roads – virtually anything – and will be categorized by what it is designed to carry, such as pedestrian and/or road traffic.

Spanning up to 120 feet, our timber structures can span different lengths in the same bridge with an 80 foot span being the most economically viable. Regardless of specific configuration, timber bridge construction is environmentally safe, aesthetically pleasing, cost competitive and efficient when compared to steel and concrete.

Our Decero Design Team engineers Timber Vehicular and Pedestrian Bridges based on governing building codes that include length, clear span, center to center of abutments, lane widths and clearances as well as load distribution and wind and seismic loads. 100-year flood levels and grading are essential criteria for the design and build of your structure. Repetitive Span Crossings

Supported by timber piling at regular intervals, typically 1-16 feet on center, these structures can be built to virtually any length and height. Spanning wetlands, lakes, rivers and streams repetitive span crossings are the perfect design to build from deck level and can include a longer free span in the middle.

Span Crossings

With little to no impact on the environment, these structures are appropriate for spanning water where there may be environmental restrictions and/or limitations on construction methods. Typically spanning 30 – 80 feet and up to 110 feet through our pioneered construction approach, this solution is the ideal choice for overpasses, steep ravines and crossings where pile foundations would be prohibited.

Short Span Crossings

Building from deck level, these shorter crossings utilize repetitive spans to best utilize space and design, up to 30 feet. Generally utilized to span a creek or relatively short distances, this is a cost effective solution and a great alternative to unattractive culverts.

Multiple Span Crossings

This combination of pile supports and free span sections create a unique crossing that is both an effective solution and an attractive option for longer spans.
