  • Our exclusive Vehicular Wear Deck System utilizes up to 6” of treated timber and is surfaced with Epoxy & Aggregate to create a lasting 2 layer deck system that is AASHTO approved and skid resistant. This deck system safeguards that the aesthetics of the structure are not jeopardized while protecting it from UV rays, water and salt damage – providing a full service life of the bridge.
Benefits of a York Timber Vehicular Bridge
The project went very well overall. After 2 years in delays from the client, for permitting issues, the overall cost went up less than 10%. YBC’s field staff was extraordinary, completing the installation of 2 bridges, all of the civil work and the finish carpentry with just 2 full-time craftsmen. The design process went very well and the greatest testament is that the end user could not be happier with the final product.
