FULL-TIME NATIONAL TRAVEL

(Year Round  National Travel with 17 Days Off For Holidays - Additional PTO Earned Based on Length of Employment)

Pay ranges from $55,000- $75,000 a year including regular hourly rate, overtime, and daily per diem

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ENTHUSIASTIC INDIVIDUALS READY TO:
  • Be physically active, work in different climates and conditions, and collaborate in a team environment
  • Travel year round, approximately 48 weeks of the year (lodging, transportation, and per diem paid by company)
  • Grow in role and leadership responsibility
  • Learn unique bridge construction methods specific to our business
SKILLS YOU NEED FOR A TIMBER BRIDGE CARPENTER:
  • Accuracy in measuring, laying out, and assembling heavy timber framing
  • Confident use of with hand tools, saws (circular, beam, chainsaw), drills (impact, right angle), and other basic carpentry power tools (sander, planer, router, etc)
  • Heavy equipment operator (skid steer, telehandler, excavator) experience
  • Knowledge of pile installation (vibratory hammer)
  • Painting, pressure washing and sanding skills
  • Safety-minded, organized, and team player
  • Ability to read & follow blueprints precisely
  • Skill in interacting with clients and reporting to supervisor

*Valid DL, DOT, and/or CDL Class A License is preferred, but not required. Due to the nature of travelling, strong candidates will have the ability to drive the company truck and pull a large trailer.

EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

  • Hourly wage beginning at $21/hr based on experience
  • $30 per day untaxed per diem
  • Overtime (scheduled up to 54 hour work week)
  • 17 +/- Paid holidays per year plus accrued PTO (90-day probationary period applies)
