Full-Time National Travel
Year-Round National Travel with 17 Days Off for Holidays
Additional PTO earned based on length of employment.
Pay Range: $55,000–$75,000 per year, including regular hourly wages, overtime, and daily per diem.
Growth Opportunity: Potential to earn over $100,000 annually with advancement.

Description
Travel the country and construct beautiful timber bridges! This is a great opportunity to grow your carpentry skills, open yourself up to career advancement, and become part of a growing mid-sized construction company.
You may be a great fit for the YBC Timber Bridge team if you have experience in:
- Rough carpentry, framing, or heavy timber construction
- Pile driving (vibratory hammer technique)
- Marine construction
- Timber bridge construction
- Full-time travel work
We Are Looking For Enthusiastic Individuals Ready To:
- Be physically active and work in different climates and conditions

- Travel year-round, approximately 48 weeks per year (lodging, transportation, and per diem paid by the company)

- Learn unique bridge construction methods specific to York Bridge Concepts
Skills Needed For A Timber Bridge Carpenter
- Accuracy in measuring, layout, and assembly of heavy timber framing
- Confident use of hand tools and power tools, including:
- Circular saws
- Beam saws
- Chainsaws
- Impact drills
- Right-angle drills
- Sanders
- Planers
- Routers
- Heavy equipment operating experience, including:
- Skid steers
- Telehandlers
- Excavators
- Knowledge of pile installation using vibratory hammers
- Painting, pressure washing, and sanding skills
- Strong safety awareness
- Organization and teamwork skills
- Ability to read and follow blueprints accurately
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients and supervisors
Valid driver's license, DOT certification, and/or CDL Class A license preferred but not required. Due to the travel requirements, strong candidates should be capable of driving company trucks and towing large trailers.
Employee Compensation Package
- Starting hourly wage: $20–$22 per hour, based on experience
- $30 per day untaxed per diem
- Overtime opportunities (scheduled up to a 54-hour work week)
- Approximately 17 paid holidays per year
- Accrued PTO (90-day probationary period applies)
